Transferring Service Transactions into the R/3 System

Use

In Customizing for transactions for Release 2.0C, there is the indicator transfer into R/3.

If this indicator is set, the service transactions are transferred from the CRM System and into the R/3 System where notifications are created automatically.

In this case, the CRM System is used simply to access the service process. Do not set this indicator if you perform all of service processing using CRM.

Service transaction items are not transferred, instead notification items are generated in the R/3 System from the damage overview screen for the service transaction.

You will find the indicator in the Implementation Guide for Transactions under Basic Settings -> Define Transaction Types -> Service - Change Customizing at Header Level
