Business Add-In for Customizing the Selection of Search Criteria (New)

Use

As of SAP CRM Release 3.1, Business Add-In CRM_IIA_SRCH_EXIT can be used to customize the selection of search criteria in the Interactive Intelligent Agent (IIA), Internet Customer Self Service (ICSS), and Solution Database (SDB). This Add-In enables you to:

• Create shortcuts (for example, by including pushbuttons or menu options in the Interactive Solution Search of the IIA to directly search for symptoms with one or more specific attributes)

• Store information about the search queries carried out

• Assign an information security profile to an organizational unit (such as a cost center)

• Filter out certain symptoms and/or linked solutions from the hit list

• Manipulate the scoring and order of the hit list

Caution
This Add-In is complex and has a delicate technical interface. A specific implementation may require you to address a consulting request to the development organization responsible for your Solution Database (SDB) and IIA.
