Short text
Assignment of Multiple Surveys to Transactions
Use
As of CRM Release 4.0, you can assign more than one survey to a transaction, for example, leads, opportunities, activities and framework agreements. You can now assign surveys at item and header level. This allows you to assign surveys more flexibly, for example, depending on the organizational unit, phase or product.
Effects on Existing Data
Effects on Data Transfer
The system determines the relevant surveys according to the determination rules you have set. The surveys in question are displayed on the interface, and you can select the one you require. The system also displays:
- Whether the questionnaire must be filled out
- Whether the questionnaire has already been filled out
The survey templates are displayed in a drop-down list box. Surveys which must be filled out are marked as "mandatory" and surveys which are already filled out are marked "filled out" in brackets after the title of the survey.
Effects on System Administration
You can now create determination rules for assigning surveys to transactions, that is, you can set specific criteria which must be fulfilled before a specific survey is assigned to the required transaction.
Depending on the transaction you are working in, the following criteria can be used to define determination criteria, for example:
- Transaction type
- Item category
- Status
- Organization units
- Product criteria
- Business partner (criteria)
- Activity reason
- Opportunity phase
- Campaign
- Target group
- You can use basic determination rules, or you can narrow down your criteria in a further customizing activity. Additional criteria can be set for:
- Leads
- Opportunities
- Activities
- Contracts
The additional criteria you can set depends on the transaction. For example, you can set a certain priority as further criteria for leads and opportunities, or a specific activity category for activities.
Effects on Customizing
Restrictions
Note that all assignments of surveys to transactions made < Release 4.0 cannot be copied over to Release 4.0. All previous assignmments must be recreated for Release 4.0.
