Archiving of Service Contracts (New)
Use
You can archive service contracts as of Release 4.0. The archiving procedure for service contracts corresponds to that for other business transactions in CRM.
Use archiving object CRM_SRCONT for archiving.
You can archive a service contract if the service contract and all follow-up documents have been closed and the residence time defined for the service contract transaction type has been reached.
The following programs are available to you for doing so in archiving administration (transaction SARA):
- Check program:,,CRM_ARC_SRCONT_CHECK
- Write program: ,,CRM_ARC_SRCONT_SAVE
- Deletion program: ,,CRM_ARC_SRCONT_DELETE
The system uses the following info structures for the CRM_SRCONT archiving object:
For the SAP GUI: ,,,,SAP_CRM_SRCONT (associated field catalog: SAP_CRM_SRCONT)
For the People Centric UI:,,SAP_CRM_SRC (associated field catalog: SAP_CRM_SRC)
You can use archiving display (transaction SARI) to display the service contracts that have been archived.
Effects on Customizing
Define the residence time required for your service contracts in the Customizing settings for Customer Relationship Management under Maintain Residence Times.
