Enhanced Revenue Account Determination (Changed)
Use
As of Release 5.0, the following new components use enhanced revenue account determination to determine symbolic revenue accounts:
- Rebates Processing (for accruals)
- Entitlement Management (for determining liability accounts)
To enable these components to determine the correct revenue accounts, you need to make the changes described below under "Effects on Existing Data" if the following apply:
- You are upgrading a live system from Release 4.0
- You have already set up customer-defined condition tables in Release 4.0 to determine a symbolic account
- You plan to use Rebates Processing or Entitlement Management in Release 5.0
Effects on Existing Data
You need to modify your customer-defined condition tables afterthe upgrade to Release 5.0, even if you do not actually use the symbolic accounts determined by this table. Change the texts of your condition tables and activate them in the following IMG path:
CRM -> Billing -> Integration -> Transfer of Billing Documents to Accounting -> Transfer to Accounts Receivable Accounting (FI-AR) / Transfer to Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) -> Enhanced Revenue Account Determination -> Define Dependencies of Revenue Account Determination -> Maintain Condition Tables.
