Addition of Components to the Business Transaction Using the Easy Enhancement Workbench (New)

Use

As of CRM 5.0, you can extend the business transaction to include business transaction components at item level. You use the Easy Enhancement Workbench to do so.

You can define your own components with the Easy Enhancement Workbench that are to be displayed in addition to the standard components shipped by SAP. When you enter a product, these components are displayed on new views in the business transaction and in accordance with the item category. In Customizing, you specify how the components and views are arranged in the business transaction. You can specify the following, for example:

  • Whether certain components are displayed on selected views
  • The layout and order of the views
  • Whether the view is dependent on an item category

You can use new components in SAP GUI and the People-Centric UI only. The views are displayed here as tab pages.
