Identify Accounts (Enhanced for SP02)

Use

As of SAP CRM 4.0 SP02, you can identify accounts more conveniently, thanks to the following enhancements:

• Localized address layout

One of two different address layouts appears, reflecting address conventions in either Europe or the US. For example, in addresses in the US, building numbers appear before the street name, but in much of Europe, it's just the opposite.

• Creation of consumers

You can create new customers as consumers before they place an order. You can use the consumer role as a template, and then fill in the remaining customer-specific data. This means that you only have to ask consumers a few questions, such as name, address, and payment method, in order to reflect them in the system.

• Option to add multiple addresses

You can add other addresses, such as a bill-to address, to existing account information.

• E-Mail preview on the account identification screen

When agents accept incoming e-mail messages, an e-mail preview appears on the identify account screen. When agents use e-mail actions, the full e-mail screen appears.
