Activity Journals with Sample Issue (New)

Use

As of SAP CRM Release 4.0, you can log the issue of pharmaceutical samples to a physician in activity management using an activity journal. This function has been developed specially to meet the needs of the pharamaceuticals industry. In addition to logging sample issues, you can use the following functions:

  • Automatic checking to verify that the sample issue adhered to the legal parameters of the country in question
  • Recording and digital storage of the physician's signature (only available when you use a handheld device or a tablet computer with Mobile Sales)
  • Ordering of samples for the physician
  • Automatic debiting of the issued samples from the stock of samples in SAP R/3
In SAP R/3, you can manage the stock of samples in a consignment stock. The integration of SAP R/3 and SAP CRM ensures that all of the samples logged in an activity journal are debited from the consignment stock.
