Company Search Using Business Partner Roles in CRM E-Commerce (Enhanced)
Use
As of CRM 5.0, for CRM E-Commerce, you can use multiple business partner roles in the company search in Web-based user management application.
When creating an Internet user in Web-based User Management, you assign a company to the user. In earlier releases the company search was based on the business partner role settings that you maintained in the Customizing activity Set Up Web-based User Management. Now you can use companies with various different business partner roles and assign them to users. This means that you can search for and assign companies with a business partner role other than sold-to partyto Internet users in Web-based user management.
