Short text

HUs with Reference to a Stock Transport Order/Scheduling Agreement (new with CRT4)

Use

Stock transports of materials are often made from one plant to another. If the materials are packed in handling units, you have to carry out a stock transport posting for them.

From CRT4, you can transfer such stocks by using a stock transport order or a stock transport scheduling agreement, that is you create an outbound delivery in the issuing plant to transfer the HUs to the stock in transfer and then create an inbound delivery in the receiving plant to move the HUs from the stock in transfer to the storage location stock of your choice.

In the issuing plant, you can now not only create HUs with reference to sales order or deliveries, but also with reference to stock transport orders.

You can now cover the requirements in the list for the outbound delivery of HUs by using stock transport orders or stock transport scheduling agreements.
