Enhancements to Returnable Packaging Logistics

Use

From Release DI 4.6C2 you can use consumption-based reorder planning for returnable packaging items. This means you can provide empties using the pull principle.

The supplier's system checks for each returnable packaging account posting whether the stock has fallen below the amount defined as reorder point quantity. If so, the system triggers a process that raises the current stock level above the reorder point quantity.
