Link to Collateral Management (FS-CMS) (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 5.00 Financial Services (EA-FS 500) you can link the Reserve for Bad Debts (RBD) component to Collateral Management (FS-CMS), enabling you to transfer collateral data and asset values to the Reserve for Bad Debts component.

Once the link to Collateral Management (FS-CMS) has been activated, the following data is displayed in the Reserve for Bad Debt (RBD) component:

  • Objects tab page
The asset value data and collateral agreements are displayed on this tab page.
  • Collateral tab page
The collateral valuations are displayed on this tab page.

Effects on Existing Data

Effects on Data Transfer

To enable Collateral Management (FS-CMS) to transfer the relevant information about the collateral and asset values for your RBD account to the RBD component, you need to have defined the function module Read RBD Customizing: Remote Linked Extractors (/IBS/RB_RFCEXTRA) in the table RBD RFC Table for Extractors of External Systems in the IMG activity RFC Table for Extractors of Linked Systems.

Effects on System Administration

Effects on Customizing

You need to define the relevant function module Get CMS List of Collateral for Contracts(/IBS/RB_CMS_SIC_GET_LIST) in the table RBD RFC Table Extractors External Systems (/IBSCRB_RFEXTRA) in the IMG activity RFC Table for Extractors of Linked Systems(/IBS/CRB_RFCXTRA). You also need to assign the function code 05 (Get Collateral Data).

Note:

If you are using Collateral Management (FS-CMS) from within Loans Management (FS-CML), you do not need to change any existing entries here.
