Changes to Component Planning

Use

From Release 3.0, an additional scenario will be available for projects in component planning. Enterprise Buyer professional edition is integrated with a project system for the component planning of projects. (In the case of non-SAP systems, the integration occurs within the context of a customer project).

The application operates in practically the same way as the plant maintenance scenario already available. There are just slight differences in the initial screen for entering search criteria and when displaying the search results.

You have the new option of using a planner role to execute component planning for different backend systems.

The requirement date is available as an additional default value for the component planning of projects. You can preassign fields for the manual entry of a requirement date, start or end date.
