Changes to SAP Business Workflow
Use
The following changes have been made to SAP Business Workflow in Release 3.0 of Enterprise Buyer:
- Change shopping cart during approval
- Users can now change shopping carts during the approval process.
- New role-based attribute Security Level (BBP_WFL_SECURITY)
- Using this attribute, you can define per role what exactly approvers are authorized to do. There are four levels of authorization:
- High: Workflow is never restarted.
- Medium: Workflow is restarted based on start conditions.
- Low: Workflow is always restarted.
- No: No changes to the shopping cart allowed during approval.
- New screen sequence
- When a managers execute a work item, they are taken directly into the shopping cart screen. Previously, they were taken first into an overview screen where they had to select Details.
- Offline approval
- In the context of the new offline mobile scenarios, managers can now approve purchases offline. They receive an e-mail containing a link. See New Offline Mobile Scenarios for Enterprise Buyer.
