Managing Catalog Import via SAP Business Connector (Changed)

Use

From Release 3.5 for the first time, you can choose whether you wish to import the catalog contents via the Exchange Infrastructure or via the SAP Business Connector. You make the setting for this in the Customizing activity Make Settings for Content Import (see Effects on Customizing). The catalog import occurs as standard via the SAP Business Connector.

The checkbox via Business Connector is flagged (see Effects on Customizing). If you wish to carry out the catalog import via the Exchange Infrastructure, you must unflag the checkbox manually.

Note that, after an update, the checkbox via Business Connectoris not flagged. In order to import the catalog contents via the SAP Business Connector as before, you must flag the checkbox manually. If you do not flag the checkbox, the catalog import is carried out automatically via the Exchange Infrastructure.
