Control of Product Check against Product Master for Catalogs

Use

Previously, a check was made each time a backend product was added to a shopping cart from a catalog. The check used the product number of the item, to see if the product actually existed in the Enterprise Buyer product master. In cases where replication had not taken place via the product master, an error message was output here as the product did not exist in the product master. As of Enterprise Buyer Release 3.5, you can set an indicator in catalog Customizing that deactivates this check, so that if employees want to add an item to the shopping cart from the catalog containing all your backend products, they can do so without getting the error message.
