Account Assignment Type (Enhanced)

Use

From SAP Enterprise Buyer Release 4.0, you can now distribute costs for goods and services to various account assignment objects by quantity and value. Previously, you could only distribute in percentage fashion.

On the user interface, there is a new selection field where you can choose the cost distribution type. The following values are available:

• Percentage

• By quantity

• By value

Effects on Existing Data

Effects on Data Transfer

Note that the R/3 system, unlike SAP Enterprise Buyer cannot perform cost distribution by value. This means that a percentage conversion occurs when the data is transferred to the R/3 system.

Material items that were assigned by quantity in Enterprise Buyer are transferred to the R/3 system unchanged. The cost distribution by quantity of service items is converted into a percentage value when it is transferred to the R/3 system.
