Locations - Replication of R/3 Plants
Use
From SAP Enterprise Buyer Release 4.0 you can specify a location as ship-to address (create it as business partner). Since a business partner of type location has to exist for each plant, it is necessary to replicate the plants from all known R/3 backend systems to the SAP Enterprise Buyer system.
This provides the following benefits:
- You can agree location-specific conditions.
- You can limit the validity of contracts to locations. This is valid in all scenarios.
- If a purchase order is to be sent to several goods recipients at one location, you can enter a location instead of a goods recipient.
