Phased Delivery Schedules (New)

Use

As of SAP SRM 5.0 you can specify multiple delivery dates for a single item of a purchase order (PO). For example, in the case of a PO item for 75 cases of equipment, you can request delivery of 25 cases each month, for the next three months.

The PO contains a new tab strip in the detail view at item level, called Schedule Lines, where you can specify multiple delivery dates. In the Item Overview tabstrip, the system enters the final chronological delivery date in the Required on field.

Note that the total quantity of items that you specify in the Schedule Lines tabstrip overrides the quantity that you specified in the Item Overview tabstrip. If these quantities differ, the system replaces the entry in the Quantityfield of the item overview with the total quantity of items from the Schedule Lines tabstrip.

You can use a Business Add-In (BAdI) to have the system propose phased delivery schedules automatically for items in a shopping cart when they are entered in a PO.
