Delivery-Related Trading Unit Change (Enhanced)

Use

As of SAP ECC DIMP 5.0, you can use the following functions in the delivery-related trading unit change:

  • Direct accessing of the Warehouse Management system (WMS)
  • Stock transport order with delivery via shipping
  • DTUC-relevant data display for each batch split item
  • DTUC pool and DTUC shop paper
  • Automatic packing in Handling Unit Management (HUM)
  • Various Business Add-Ins (BAdIs)

Effects on Customizing

To use the Warehouse Management system in DTUC, you must enter the WM control indicator and the relevant goods movements in Customizing for DTUC, under Set Movement Types for DTUC.

To use the BAdIs, you must create and activate your own implementation for each BAdI in Customizing for Logistics Execution, under Shipping → Deliveries → Delivery-Related Trading Unit Change (DTUC) → Business Add-Ins (BAdIs).
