Create Shopping Basket

Scope of Functions

As of Release 2.0A, the following changes have been made regarding shopping basket creation:

  • You can enter multiple account assignments for items. This is possible for all account assignment objects.
If a reservation is created in the backend system for an item with multiple account assignment, the entire reservation is posted to the first account assignment, since you cannot use multiple account assignments in reservations.
Example
You have planned the account assignment for an item that a reservation is created for, as follows:
  • 30 % to the cost center "Sales"

  • 70 % to the cost center "Marketing"

The entire reservation is posted to the cost center "Sales".
  • Purchase orders are created locally in the SAP B2B Procurement System.

  • The procurement cards have been set up in the Implementation Guide (IMG), see Procurement Card.

  • In addition to the text that is output to the vendor, you can also write an internal memo. This allows you to send an internal message to the approver or the buyer responsible.
  • On the interface, there is no longer a distinction between goods and services. You work with products.
The prerequisite for this is that you replicate the material masters and service masters from the backend system to the product master in the SAP B2B Procurement System, see Replicating Data from the Backend System.
  • You can search for products.
  • The system automatically assigns a source of supply from the backend system to the product, providing that the source is unique. The system reads the product master, finds the backend system material number assigned to the product there and finds the sources of supply for this material. This is not possible for products that describe a service.
  • Until Release 2.0A, the same values appeared in the entry help for all users. As of Release 2.0A, you can use attributes assigned to organizational units or positions to narrow down the values displayed. A user then sees only those values assigned to his or her organizational unit or position.
You make these settings in the Implementation Guide, see Define Organizational Data Model and Edit Organizational Structure and Define User Attributes.
  • A user can choose another goods receipient. The prerequisite for this is that values have been assigned to the user's position using the attribute "Goods recipient". You make these settings in the Implementation Guide (IMG), see Define Organizational Data Model.
