New Customizing functions in EC-PCA:

Description

  • Master data
  • The section Representative Materials has been added. It contains the steps Activate representative materials, Choose representative materials and Derive representative materials.

  • Assigning objects to profit centers
  • The steps Assign business processes and Assign real estate objects have been added.

  • Transfer pricing
  • The section Transfer prices is new. This contains the section Pricing, which includes the steps where you define price dependencies, condition types, access sequences, pricing procedures, condition exclusion for groups of conditions, variants for transfer prices and pricing reports.
    The section Transfer Prices also contains the section Account Determination, where you define account determination for internal goods movements, valuation differences and production variances for transfers between profit centers.
    The step Define special handling for internal goods movements is also contained under Transfer Prices.

  • Planning
  • The section Basic Settings for Planning is new. This includes the steps Maintain plan versions, Define document types, and Maintain number ranges.

  • The new section Manual Planning contains the section Planning Layouts with the steps Create planning layout for costs/revenues, Create planning layout for inventories and Create planning layout for statistical key figures.

  • The section Manual Planning also contains the step Create distribution key.

  • The section Copying Plans contains the steps Maintain planning sets and Maintain planning parameters.

  • Actual postings
  • The new section Additional Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Accounts contains the steps Choose accounts and Define derivation rules for finding profit centers.

  • Information system
  • The step Define report groups and read programs for archiving is new.

Changed and deleted sections in EC-EIS:

  • The order of the steps has changed.
