Changes to Dangerous Goods Checks

Description

For SAP EH&S Release 2.7A, the dangerous goods checks component has been extended to include the check method mixed loading checks.

The mixed loading checks determine whether dangerous goods can be loaded together. This requires checks at different levels and allows regulation-dependent rules and enterprise-specific special cases to be mapped.

The dangerous goods checks were also extended to include the functions material exchange and multiple component material explosion, available by means of customer exits:

  • Material exchange
Materials in the SD document for which no dangerous goods master records have been created can be exchanged for check purposes with materials that have dangerous goods master records.
This means dangerous goods checks can also be run in material hierarchies where dangerous goods master records are not created at all levels.
  • Multiple component material explosion
Multi-component materials are exploded into individual components by the customer exit and then all dangerous goods-relevant materials are checked.

Effects on Customizing

Customizing for Dangerous Goods Management was extended to include the IMG section Specify Settings for Mixed Loading Checks.

The IMG activity Specify Danger Labels was extended to include the Segr. key.

The IMG section Dangerous Goods Checks and Dangerous Goods Documents/EDI -> Common Settings -> Customer Exits was extended to include the following IMG activities:

Changes to the Interface

The hit lists and detail views in the dangerous goods master were extended to include the Mixed loading tab page. You can make the following entries here:

  • Segregation keys
  • Mixed loading rules (MLR)
  • Regulation-dependent mixed loading groups (RML)
  • Enterprise-specific mixed loading groups (EntML)
