Short text
Changes to Terminology in Occupational Health
Description
The following terminology changes have been made in SAP EH&S Release 2.7A in the Occupational Health component:
Old | New |
---|---|
Frequency type | Examination type |
Result category | Value assignment |
Note:
-
The SAP concept of classifying objects in hierarchies using the terms "category" and "type" is a concept
that can be found throughout SAP. As EH&S becomes more integrated in the rest of SAP with each Release,
some EH&S terminology relating to these two terms needed to be synchronized. You may find that in some
cases, "type" and "category" have been reversed in contrast to Release 2.5. This is as a result of the need to come into line with the naming of objects in other SAP components.
"Category" is considered to be the higher-level grouping in a hierarchy and "type" is the lower level (see "specification category" and "specification type").
Note:
It is possible that these changes have not been completed throughout the whole of the system in SAP EH&S Release 2.7A.
