Changes to SD Interface

Description

The following changes have been implemented in SAP EH&S Release 2.7A that were delivered with patch level 5 for SAP EH&S Release 2.2B and with Support Package 3 for SAP EH&S Release 2.5B:

Changes to existing function modules

The following function modules for the SD interface have been moved to the new function group C1CF:

Previously                   New
C1CE_CUS_DATA_GET_FORM_KNA1 C1CF_CUS_DATA_GET_FORM_KNA1
C1CE_LIKP_READ               C1CF_LIKP_READ
C1CE_LIPS_READ               C1CF_LIPS_READ
C1CE_MAT_SALES_TEXT         C1CF_MAT_SALES_TEXT
C1CE_MSDS_RECEIVER_READ     C1CF_MSDS_RECEIVER_READ
C1CE_VBAK_READ               C1CF_VBAK_READ
C1CE_VBAP_READ               C1CF_VBAP_READ
C1CE_VBUK_READ               C1CF_VBUK_READ
C1CE_MSDS_RECEIVER_READ     C1CF_MSDS_RECEIVER_READ
C1CE_VBAK_READ               C1CF_VBAK_READ

These new function modules are used by the programs RC1SDDIS and RC1SDSAL in report shipping as processing routines for output type SDB:

  • RC1SDDIS for shipping
  • RC1SDSAL for sales

As long as you are using copies of these programs or user exits that use the old function modules, only their calls need to be changed. Apart from the names, no other changes have been made to the function modules and the interfaces are identical. You must only replace the character string C1CE with C1CF in the function module call.

If you use a logistics system and an EH&S system separately, you previously needed to transport an almost complete EH&S system into the logistics system for the SD interface.

SAP EH&S Release 2.7A provides you with a transport with which you only have to import a selected number of EH&S objects.

Note:

Customer note 118314 contains all relevant information for the transport.

The address data necessary for generating report generation orders was previously read from the customer master in the logistics system. Since the function modules that were required for this were different depending on the SAP release, up to now, only release-specific interfaces could be provided.

The interface is now independent of the SAP release of your logistics system. The process of generating SD shipping orders is the same as that in the old interface. Since the address data from now on is only read in the EH&S system, the SAP System no longer uses the business address as the postal address for the contact person, but the company address. For this reason, the company address is displayed in the shipping order header. This is irrelevant to the distribution or generation of the report shipping orders.

Environment Parameters for the SD interface

The environment parameters SRE_DS_DELETE and SRE_DS_TRACE_LEVEL were previously used for report shipping (SRE_SRE_DS_TRACE_LEVEL since patch level 4 for SAP EH&S Release 2.2B and support package 2 for SAP EH&S Release 2.5B). As of SAP EH&S Release 2.7A (or patch level 5 for SAP EH&S Release 2.2B or support package 3 for SAP EH&S Release 2.5B), these parameters are also used when the log is written in the SD interface.

For more information on the environment parameters, see the IMG activity Specify Environment Parameters.

Effects on Customizing

Define the environment parameters SRE_DS_DELETE and SRE_DS_TRACE_LEVEL in the IMG activity Specify Environment Parameters.
