/KYK/GEN_AIO_SIMPLIFICATION: Business Function SAP All-in-One Roles (new)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enhancement Package 3, you can use the SAP All-in-One Roles (/KYK/GEN_AIO_SIMPLIFICATION) business function in the software component SAP_APPL.

This business function provides you with roles that have been created specifically to meet the needs of small businesses and midsize companies in the production industry. From a technical view, these roles re stored in the profile generator (transaction PFCG) and cover transactions, reports, and object lists in the form of POWER lists.

The roles delivered enable end users efficient access to the processes of Financial Accounting, Controlling, Materials Management, Production Planning and Control, and Sales and Distribution.

To ensure that the role menus appear correctly, the end users have to use SAP NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC).

Effects on Existing Data

The roles, reports, and object lists delivered provide only additional functions, or alternatives to the transactions of the existing components. There are no modifications to existing transactions.

Effects on Data Transfer

This business function covers the objects that were part of the SAP All-in-One Enablement Kit 1.2. If you have already used this, but now want to changeover to SAP ERP, all you have to do is activate this business function. No other migration steps are necessary
