Quality Management: Document Link to Inspection Lot

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 (SAP_APPL 607), you can assign documents to inspection lots.

As of this release, in inspection lots documents are available on the Documents tab that you can use to make the assignments.

As a prerequisite, the Document Link to Insp. Lot switch must be activated for the business process Quality Inspection in Customizing under Quality Management -> Basic Settings -> Maintain Settings at Client Level.

In addition, in Customizing for Document Management under Control Data -> Define Document Types, at least one document type must be maintained that permits assignment of inspection lots (object QALS for object link) and screen number 500 must be specified.

If the prerequisites are fulfilled, the Documents tab is displayed in inspection lot processing and the usage decision. On this tab, you can assign documents to the inspection lot.

In the document management record on the Object Links tab, there is an additional tab for inspection lots. Here, all the inspection lots are listed to which the document is assigned. You can also assign inspection lots to the document management record here.

Assigned documents can be displayed in results recording.
