Expanded Functions for Cost-of-Sales Accounting

Scope of Functions

The expanded functions in Asset Accounting affect postings to cost accounting (report RABUCH00 or RAPOST00).

Until now, depreciation areas that did not post to cost centers could not fully use the options for determining functional areas. The system could use data from the cost center, but not data from other account assignment elements.

Now the system is able to use all account assignment elements, such as G/L accounts, internal order, activity type and cost center for determining the functional area for depreciation areas even if they do not post to cost centers.
