USER Exit prior to Checking Bank Account Numbers
Description
In Release 3.0F there is a user exit before the system checks the validity of the bank account number.
The user exit is called up in the SAP function module BANK_ACCOUNT_CHECK, which makes the formal validation of the country-specific data and any other checks.
Prior to these checks, the user exit can access and check the following data:
- Bank key (usually the bank number)
- Bank country
- Bank account number
- Bank control key
By setting the STOP_ONLY_FORMAT_CHECK return parameter, the function module can have the system make only formal checks instead of the additional checks.
Therefore, you can permit the entry of certain account numbers that do not fulfill the normal rules.
The called function module is EXIT_SAPLSSRV_002. The customer enhancement can be made using transaction CMOD and then programmed in include ZXF10U02.
