Creating a Claim (Changed)

Use

As of Release 4.64 you can implement the following new BAdIs for creation of a claim:

• Duplicate check

At BDT event DCHCK (Checks Before Saving (Cross-View)) you can implement BAdI ICL_DUPLICATE_CHECK to check for duplicates. In addition to the duplicate check on the Create Claim: Claim Processing initial screen, the system executes a further duplicate check.

• Claim bundle search

At BDT event DCHCK (Checks Before Saving (Cross-View) you can implement BAdI ICL_BUNDLE_SEARCH to search for a claim bundle. The system then searches for any claim bundles matching the claim.

Duplicate check

To check for duplicates, implement BAdI ICL_DUPLICATE_CHECK in the Implementation Guide for Claims Management under Claim -> Technical Settings -> Customer Enhancements -> Business Add-Ins -> Find Possible Claim Duplicates During Creation Process.

Claim bundle search

To search for claim bundles, implement BAdI ICL_BUNDLE_SEARCH in the Implementation Guide for Claims Management under Claim -> Technical Settings -> Customer Enhancements -> Business Add-Ins -> Find Matching Claim Bundle for Claim.
