Correspondence (Changed)

Use

As from Release 4.72 the following changed or new functions are available with correspondence:

All sample documents delivered through Release 4.71 were SAPscript documents. In Release 4.72 these have been converted 1:1 into SAP Smart Form documents.

You can also create and send correspondence in the claim bundle. SAP has created form class ICLE_BUNDLE so that claim bundle data can be accessed in correspondence. Use this form class as the basis for creating forms for the claim bundle.

The system also stores data on the claim items in the correspondence container.

As of Release 4.72 you can use the Send Method field with the Document Proposal action type in the Business Rule Framework to control how the document should be output. The following settings are possible:

• Document Proposal

The document is placed in the document proposal list.

• Print Immediately

The document is output immediately and not placed in the document proposal list.

To enable you to use correspondence for the claim bundle, make the following settings in the Implementation Guide:

1. In IMG activity Define Application Forms create the required application forms for form class ICLE_BUNDLE.
2. Under Claims Management -> Claim -> Business Settings -> Correspondence, make the other customizing settings. The settings for the claim bundle are the same as those in customizing of the claim.
3. To enable you to use these customizing settings for correspondence in the claim bundle as well, do the following:
1. In IMG activity Configure Internal Claim Types create an internal claim type that you want to use as a dummy claim type in the claim bundle.

It is important that you store the permitted manual documents at claim header level.

1. Define this internal claim type in IMG activity Define Subtypes per Claim Bundle Type.

All documents stored in the internal claim type are available for the relevant subtype of the claim bundle type.
