Diagnoses (Changed)
Use
From Release 4.72, the following new functionalities are available for diagnoses:
You can now assign diagnoses to individual claim items of a claim item grouping, as well as to claim item groupings themselves. To do so, you define the claim item number as well as the claim item grouping number in the diagnosis origin key of the diagnosis.
This is used in the inpatient hospital process in the extension and discharge notification (see Release Note Hospital) and in the per diem hospital benefit (see Release Note Per Diem Hospital Benefit).
Each diagnosis is assigned to the insured person of the subclaim. Provided that the injured person has not been created manually, this person is identical to the claimant of the subclaim. If several subclaims exist with the same claimant, the system does not create a new injured person for each subclaim. In fact, the system only creates one injured person, and all subclaims reference this person.
- You can import the current (status: September 2003) country-specific DIMDI format of the diagnosis catalog.
- To do so, choose the entry Country-Specific Catalog Format in the Format of Diagnosis Catalog field in IMG activity Import Diagnosis Groups and Diagnoses, and enter function module ICL_SAMPLE_DIMDI_READ.
- You can also import the current (status: September 2003) country-specific DIMDI diagnosis thesaurus.
- To do so, choose the entry Diagnosis Thesaurus in the Format of Diagnosis Catalog field in IMG activity Import Diagnosis Groups and Diagnoses, and enter function module ICL_SAMPLE_THES_READ.
- If you want to use other country-specific formats and diagnosis thesauruses, you might need to write your own read module and enter this in the Function Module field.
