Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Financial Services, enhancement package 5 (EA-FS 605), the business function CML, Payment Application Hierarchy and Negative Postings (EAFS_CML_PAH_NP) is available.

This business function can be used to apply incoming payments through a payment distribution hierarchy dependent on the loan status. Payment Application Hierarchy is a part of the servicing functionality for loan accounts, which is provided in SAP Loans Management(FS-CML).

This functionality exists alreadyis available for the product category Installment Loans (360) product category and is now extended to the product categories Mortgage Loans (300)and General Loans (330) product categories.

You can now:

  • Assign a hierarchy to any available product category

  • Define an underpayment and an overpayment hierarchy for a product type
