Order Creation with Reference to IBASE
Description
IS-SW enhances the sales and distribution functionality, allowing you to manipulate an existing configuration of an IBASE record in a sales document. This new function 'Create with Reference to IBASE' builds the starting point to the create license bump process. A pre-requisite for this functionality is that a serial number in the IBASE contains a configuration with the SW license data. The IBASE record will be flagged with a status according to the type of SD document(quote or order). See IBASE Status Management.
The configuration of the IBASE record will be copied into the SD document item and the serial number will be attached in the object list of the item.
Note: Only one serial number can be bumped in a document item.
The completion of the bump process includes the following functionality:
- Configuration delta pricing for one time charge processes
