Item Category Determination for SMP Orders
Description
Starting with IS-SW Release 1.3A, it is now possible for users to define their own item category determination for SMP orders. To do this customizing, use one of these three methods:
- OKGG -> Transactions -> Sales documents -> SMP sales document
- IMG -> Sales and Distribution -> Sales -> Sales document -> Define SMP sales document type
In this customizing view:
| SaTy = Sales order header type |
| ItCatNot = Item category of notification line item in an MLM |
| notification order |
| = Item category of notification line item for new product |
| in a VCP notification order |
| ItCatVCP = Item category of notification line item for old product |
| in a VCP notification order |
| D = "X" For the default sales order type for newly created |
| variants. Only one sales order type can be the default |
| value. This is enforced by the IS-SW code. |
Important Note:
Users must still do the appropriate "item category assignment"
customizing needed for the sales order header type and item categories
categories to work together during sales order processing.
