HCM_LOC_CI_28: Corporate Pension Management (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0 (EA-HRCCN 605), business function HCM, Localization Topics for China (HCM_LOC_CI_28), you can manage corporate pension plans for companies in China. This business function enables you to process corporate pension plan data for your employees in line with the general business requirements in China.

The new functions enable you to do the following:

  • Define your own corporate pension plans
  • Define your own participation criteria for corporate pension plans
  • Define your own eligibility criteria for receiving payments from corporate pension plans
  • Define contribution calculation methods
  • Define the frequency of making contributions to corporate pension plans
  • Calculate and deduct contributions for corporate pension plans
  • Calculate the tax due on employer contributions in line with Chinese legislation
  • Manage master data for corporate pension plans

To use this business function, you have to activate the Human Capital Management (EA-HR) Enterprise Extension.

Effects on Existing Data

Activating this business function has the following effects on existing data:

  • A new field, Employer Contribution to Corporate Pension is available in the Income Tax (CN) (0531) infotype. You can use this field to specify if the employer pays the tax for employer contributions to corporate pension plans.
  • You must stop using copies of the MRCPmodel wage type for employer contributions to corporate pension plans that was delivered in SAP Note 1429452. The new Corporate Pension Management function contains the following new wage types to process employer contributions:
  • Regular Pension Contribution by Employer(/CRR) wage type

  • Special Pension Contribution by Employer (/CSR) wage type

as follows:

  • Pension Management Groups

  • Business Add-Ins (BAdIs)
