HCM_LOC_CI_57: Business Function HCM, YEA Forms in ESS for Japan

Use

As of SAP Enhancement Package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0, the HCM, Enhancement of YEA Forms in ESS for Japan (HCM_LOC_CI_57) business function is available. This business function enhances the editing, display, and printing of the following YEA forms in Employee Self-Services (ESS):

  • Employee's Income Tax and Family Dependent Tax
  • Life Insurance and Spouse Tax Deduction Declaration

To use this business function, you have to activate the Human Capital Management (EA-HR) Enterprise Extension.

The business function enables the following features for the two forms:

  • The HR administrator can indicate in the Personnel Tax Status JP (0145) infotype if YEA forms of the employee can be displayed and printed in SAP GUI.
  • Employees can enter additional personal information (for example, name of the householder and address of the dependent).
  • You can monitor the status of YEA forms to see if your employees have updated the forms in ESS.
  • Employees can print out an attachment sheet. The sheet guides the employees to prepare the additional documents, and the HR administrator use these additional documents to verify the submitted YEA form data.
  • The user interface layout is improved for easier entering of form data.
  • Instead of specifying a begin date and an end date to select the form data, employees can specify a target year for the form data.
  • Employees can choose pushbuttons that link reference information about how to fill out the forms. They will be navigated to the linked reference information. You can configure the pushbuttons in Customizing for Personnel Management under Employee Self-Service (Web Dynpro ABAP) -> Service-Specific Settings -> Settings for Country-Specific Services -> Japan -> Benefits and Payment -> Year-End Adjustment -> Define Help Text or Reference Information.

For the Life Insurance and Spouse Tax Deduction Declaration form only, the business function provides the following features:

  • Group insurance entries are protected from modification by employees themselves.
  • Employees can copy the data from the previous year.
    Note
    If data is copied from the previous year, all the existing data (except group insurance data) for the current year is overwritten.
