HCM, Master Data changes Tracking

Use

As of SAP_HRRXX 6.08 SP80, the business function HCM, Master Data changes Tracking is available.

With this business function, you can enable automatic master data change-tracking in the RMS Status (3400) infotype.

You can maintain a list of master data infotypes that trigger an update in the RMS Status (3400) infotype with a new earliest master data change date. In Customizing activity Assign Subtypes of Infotype 3400 to PA Infotypes/Subtypes, you assign subtypes of infotype 3400 to personal data infotypes. The system automatically updates the Earliest Retro Reporting Date for the corresponding subtype of infotype 3400 when the assigned subtype of a personal data infotype is updated for an employee.
