HCM, Total Payment Management for China (New)

Use

As of EA-HRCCN 608, the HCM, Total Payment Management for China business function is available.

With this business function, you can manage the total payment budget from the organizational unit level in the system. The HCM, Total Payment Managementbusiness function provides the following features:

• Total Payment Planning

You can define the total payment plan, period, budget organizational structure, item, planning process, and control mode. According to the setup, you can distribute the total payment budget among organizational units and release to a subsidiary or whole company.

• Total Payment Monitoring

During the total payment planning period, you can monitor the total payment usage from the payroll result for each organizational unit.

To use this business function, you have to activate the Human Capital Management(EA-HR) Enterprise Extension.

You can configure the total payment plan attributes using the following reports:

• Total Payment Calculation Application

• Total Payment Configuration Application

When you release the configured total payment plan, the data is saved in the database and you can access the total payment plan through the Web Dynpro Total Payment Managementapplication.

Effects on Customizing

You can define your total payment plan period, item types, and plan types and their corresponding available item types, and you can define how the reports are executed in the background, using the following Customizing activities:

• Define Total Payment Plan Period

• Define Total Payment Plan Item Types

• Define Total Payment Plan Types and Available Item Types

• Define Report Variants and Background Processing

You can set up your SAP Portal and SAP NetWeaver Business Client roles to access the Total Payment ManagementWeb Dynpro application using the following Customizing activities:

• Set Up Application to Menu for SAP Portal Role

• Set Up Application to Menu for SAP NetWeaver Business Client for HTML

You can define the organizational units, create the calculation method for the plan items, and select the employees to be included in the plan data usage calculations by implementing the following BAdIs:

• BAdI: Define Authorized Organizational Unit

• BAdI: Create Calculation Method for Total Payment Item

• BAdI: Select Employees in Calculation Method for Total Payment Item

To access the Customizings activities and implement the BAdIs, in Customizing, go to Payroll → Payroll: China → Total Payment Management.
