New Functionality and Enhancements in Detail Maintenance

Scope of Functions

From this release combo boxes will be used as input helps in Detail Maintenance and Personnel Administration.

• From this release, settings for the default planning status are made using the corresponding tab page rather than the menu option Settings.

• Aspects are selected using the menu option Settings, until now, these have been selected directly from the screen.

• Settings for country-specific infotypes have been enhanced and simplified. The following options are available:

• No country-specific infotypes

• All country-specific infotypes

• Country-specific infotypes for certain countries (enter the relevant countries)

From this release, there is a display mode in Detail Maintenance. You can access this by choosing the corresponding button or by following the menu path Object -> Display <-> Change.

From this release, you set the order of the list screen with the IMG activity "Maintain Customer-Specific Settings for Infotypes". The following options are available:

• Ascending order by subtype, descending by validity start date

• Descending by validity start date, acscending by subtype

• Ascending by subtype, ascending by validity start date

• Ascending by validity start date, ascending by subtype

This method of sorting will cause a check error for customer-specific table infotypes that are already available.

In these customer infotypes, the line with the entry "TABLES 77CD2" in the module pool MP9nnn00 must be deactivated. (Query of sorting sequence takes place rather than MP9nnn00 in MPHDAT00)

As the Detail Maitenance Editor has changed, the screen MP2100 must be used to generate batch input folders for infotype 1002. It is only possible to generate batch input folders for infotype 1002 correctly using this screen.
