Changes in function ARSAC

Use

In order to calculate the SAC payment, function ARSAC determines the best remuneration of the semester and stores it in wage type "Best remuneration for SAC" (/S03).

Some enhancements have been made in order to offer the customer the posibility to use another amount as the best remuneration of the semester, instead of the one calculated by function ARSAC. For this, a new wage type "Best remuneration for SAC - Forced" (/S11) has been created.

Effects on Existing Data

If, for purposes of the SAC payment, you want to use an amount for the best remuneration of the semester which is different than the one function ARSAC would calculate, you have to:

• enter wage type /S11 with your own amount in infotype One-Time Payments Off-Cycle (0267), if you want to calculate SAC payment by means of an off-cycle run; OR

• enter wage type /S11 in infotype Additional Payments (0015), if you want to calculate SAC payment within a normal payroll run.

Function ARSAC uses then the amount you have entered in one of these infotypes to calculate the SAC payment.
