HR: Changes in the Application Component Hierarchy
Description
The Application Component Hierarchy (ACH) of Personnel Administration has undergone extensive changes in release 4.0A. These changes make it possible to break the functionality of this application down into very small units and extend integration between the individual components.
The following are the most important changes:
- Personnel Management
- The former Personnel Administration and Personnel Planning and Development applications have been combined and regrouped in this component.
- The Personnel Administration component is now organized according to country.
- Organizational Management
- This component has been moved from HR to Basis.
- Room Reservations Planning
- This component has been moved from HR to Basis.
- Travel Management
- This component has been moved from HR to Financial Accounting.
- Incentive Wages
- This component has been split and reassigned to Personnel Time Management and Payroll Accounting.
