Human Resources as a distributed SAP component
Description
The Application Link Enabling (ALE) scenario 'HR-only' has been enhanced for 40A. This scenario allows Human Resources (HR) to run on a separate system, communicating with the other applications (Accounting, Logistics, and Sales and Distribution) via ALE.
The different scenarios which make up 'HR-only' have been documented in two places:
- Distribution (ALE) IMG
- R/3 Library, under Human Resources
