Valuation of averages

The procedure for valuating averages has been redesigned and enhanced. The most important changes are listed.

Previously, it was necessary that the time unit for the periods used to calculate the averages was the same as the time unit for the payroll periods. As of Release 4.5A, you can select different time units and, for example, create average values for a month even though payroll is run each week.

You can include off-cycle payroll runs when calculating the averages and, if required, specify that only particular off-cycle reasons are valid.

Customizing has been simplified. Particular settings can now be made using views instead of rules. This simplifies the procedure.

The selection of average periods to be included in the calculation can be modified to meet complex requirements, and has been structured in a clearer way.
