Family Allowance
Description
Family Allowance (salário-família) is a monthly benefit paid to employees with dependents. The total amount of family allowance to be paid depends on the number of children and on the employee's remuneration. A child is considered eligible for family allowance calculation if he/she is under 14 years old. If the dependent is disabled, there is no age limit.
The value to be paid per eligible child is annually changed, according to the Brazilian Government minimum salary adjustment.
This function allows you to calculate the family allowance for each employee's dependent, performing the total amount of this benefit.
