Redesign of the Vacation Allowance Processing

Description

The Vacation Allowance functionality has been redesigned to easily and efficiently process the employee's vacation allowance.

The concept behind it is the processing of vacation allowance based on a set of processing variants, which are defined for each group of employees and will determine the type of processing to be used.

In the new version of Vacation Allowance:

1. The absence quotas are maintained in Absence Quotas infotype (IT2006) (Leave entitlement infotype - IT 0005 - is not used anymore).
2. The personnel calculation rules used in the previous version of Vacation Allowance became obsolete.
3. The following objects have been created:
   

• Allowance grouping infotype (IT 0334)
  

• The tables:
  

• T5PVA - HR-PT: Processing variants for vacation allowance

• T5PVT - HR-PT: Processing variants for vacation allowance (texts)
  

• The following views:
  

• V_T5PV1 - HR-PT: Assingment of quota type selection rule

• V_T5PV2 - HR-PT: Classification of absence quota types

• V_T5PVA - HR-PT: Processing variants for VA

• V_T5PVA_G - HR-PT: Processing variants for VA (payment data

• PVGRP, that assigns the employee to a processing variant

• VA40 - 14th month all. (compl)

• VA70 - Vac All - pre-retired

Effects on Customizing

You must configure the following steps in the IMG:

• HR-PT: Payroll Accounting -> Vacation Allowance -> Vacation Allowance Processing (New Version) ->
  

• Assign quota type selection rule

• Classify absence quota types

• Maintain processing variant texts
  

• Personneal Administration -> Payroll Data -> Processing Variant (New Version of VA) -> Assign employee to processing variant.
