Replacement for SAP Standard Condition Technique (New)

Use

As of Release SAP ECC 5.00 ICM Extension (EA-ICM 500) you have the option of using a different rule engine or condition technique instead of the SAP standard condition technique.

Previously you had to use the SAP standard condition technique to determine certain information (output values) on the basis of predetermined information (input values) with the help of conditions.You can now choose the rule engine you wish to use in Incentive and Commission Management.

Effects on Customizing

To replace the SAP standard condition technique with a different rule engine, you have to make the necessary settings in the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Incentive and Commission Management under Incentive and Commission Management → Tools → Logical Service: Edit Tools.
