New Functions in Depreciation Simulation

Scope of Functions

Until now, it was only possible to distribute depreciation simulation data to asset classes or cost centers using percentage rates.

Now you have more methods of distribution, in addition to distribution by percentage rates. You can now distribute by:

• Equivalence numbers

• Amounts

• Amounts and percentages

• Amounts and equivalence numbers

Damage caused to data by errors

Software/hardware requirements

Installation information

Effects on System Administration

Effects on Customizing

You specify in the investment profile which of these combinations you will use later for creating distribution rules.

You can also specify the following in the investment profile:

• For distribution by amount, whether the overall plan value or the budget should serve as the base value

• For the screen layout for maintenance of depreciation simulation data for orders and WBS elements, whether the system should display which actual settlements have already taken place
