AD_MRO_CI_3: Rotables/Sharing of Spare Parts, Subcontracting Improvements (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Industry Extension Discrete Industries & Mill Products, Enhancement Package 4, the business function Rotables/Sharing of Spare Parts, Subcontracting Improvements (AD_MRO_CI_3) is available and provides the following functions:

Rotables

• You can use customer stock with PM/CS orders.

• Stock Determination

Components can be adopted from a task list using a notification with an assigned task list or directly during order creation. If components are assigned from a task list to a PM/CS order, the check of special stock information (customer, WBS element, sales order number/item, and so on) is executed after the stock determination process. If there is no special stock information available in the order which is needed for the special stock indicator, an error message is raised and no special stock indicator is assigned to the order. The system behavior with components taken over from a task list into PM/CS order is now the same as if components are assigned into the order manually.

Sharing of Spare Parts

• You can use BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN with customer stock. Note that this does not apply to refurbishment orders.

• Use customer stock within the goods movement transaction MIGO.

• Use the movement types 105, 501, 711, 717, and their reversal movement types for customer stock.

• Subsequent Adjustments

• Partial Deliveries

• Forward Exchange

• Return Material Authorization (RMA) Orders

You must install DIMP 6.0 and activated one of the following, depending on your requirements:

• Business function Refurbishment and Subcontracting (LOG_EAM_ROTSUB)

• Business function set Discrete Industries and Mill Products (DIMP_SDUD) and business function Rot/SSP, Subcon Innovations (AD_MRO_CI_3).
