AUTO_DP_1: BF Dealer Portal, Veh.Mgmt Sys., Spare Parts, Enterpr.Serv. (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Industry Extension Discrete Industries & Mill Products, Enhancement Package 4 (ECC-DIMP 604), you can use the Dealer Portal, Vehicle Management System, Spare Parts, Enterprise Services (AUTO_DP_1) business function in the Discrete Industries/Mill Products (DIMP) business function set.

With this business function, you can use the new dealer portal, which is based on Web Dynpro for ABAP, for communication and collaboration between original equipment manufacturers (OEM), importers, car distributors, and car dealers. There are functions available for vehicle sales and spare parts procurement.

You can also use Enterprise Services for sales orders and vehicles with this business function.

Note that you have restricted use of the Dealer Portal, Vehicle Management System, Spare Parts, Enterprise Services (AUTO_DP_1) business function if you have activated the Discrete Industries/Mill Products and Public Services (DIMP_PS) business function set.
